Planning a trip to Turks and Caicos? U.S. officials say it's time to take extra precautions.
The State Department has renewed its Level 2 travel advisory for the popular Caribbean destination, warning of reports of sexual assaults, petty crime and scams targeting tourists.
Officials also cautioned that even a single round of ammunition in your luggage can lead to arrest, jail time and heavy fines, warning: “We cannot get U.S. citizens out of detention.”
